JLJF Appearances

JLJF 2016 | 2017

Strawberry Moon (2015-2018) assembled for the pure love of playing music, all genres. It was a band that specifically wrote and performed music that provokes positive energy. You might call it a throwback 60’s 70’s vibe. All of us in the band embrace these decades as the foundation of what we think is powerful music. We have elements of psychedelic jams, groovy driven back beats, melody, guitar riffs, improvisation and story motivated songwriting. We interpret, try not to copy and ultimately jam some cracker funk while also tearing into some latch key suburbanite blues. Basically, We have fun experimenting with sound and let what happens musically, happen.
These days, John can be found on the air at KMMT, Mammoth’s radio station. Tanya is singing with Lightning Dan & the Crawdads, a Grateful Dead tribute band out of SoCal. Robert is still heading up Gospel Swamp Blues Band. And Scott is playing percussion for The Groovy Ruby Band, Paracosmic, and Sol Soiree.
Until we meet again….spread the love!
